OUR PROGRAMS

  • TODDLER PROGRAM

    Children who are at least 14 months of age and no more than 36 months may be admitted into the toddler program if it is determined that our toddler program will meet their needs. Children must be independently walking and must be free of bottles and pacifiers, as we encourage language throughout the day and will be teaching children to drink from a cup.

    ~ All children will need to provide their own Packed Lunch, Daily.

    ~ (Yet healthy Snacks are provided.)


    ~ We ask that all Full Day Students arrive between 7:30 AM - 8:30 each day.

  • PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

    Our preschool classroom is designed for children ages 3 - 6 years, and licensed to serve children ages 2.5 – 6 years of age.

    Every Montessori classroom operates on the principle of freedom within limits. Ground rules appropriate to the age level are based on core Montessori beliefs: respect for self, for others, and for the environment.

  • KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM

    Our kindergarten classroom serves children ages 2.5 – 6 years old.

    Every Montessori classroom operates on the principle of freedom within limits. Ground rules appropriate to the age level are based on core Montessori beliefs: respect for self, for others, and for the environment.

    * The Kindergarten year is the 3rd year for the Primary classroom.
    The kindergarteners are the leaders in the primary classrooms, and are an important part of the mixed aged classrooms, demonstrating the larger works, and modeling for the younger students.

    In the 3rd year of the Primary Classroom, children continue to develop and are becoming more capable to begin understanding more abstract concepts. We use this special time to have more small group work and unit study. This helps prepare students to move into their next school of choice.

SIGNS OF READINESS FOR
THE MONTESSORI CLASSROOM


Keep in mind, a 2 1/2 to just-turned 3 year old chid is still considered a Toddler. Exhibiting all of the traits below would be a very advanced toddler!If your young and/or new-to-a-Montessori-school chid needs help with something on the list, a little practice (and patience) at home goes a long way in helping your child develop self-reliance..

Please look at this list simply as: Things to practice with your child before school starts. This will help your child transition into the primary Montessori classroom.

1. Toilet-trained: Does your child realise the need to use the restroom and can they undress, wipe, get dressed, and wash hands?

2. Self-care: Is your child able to dress/undress (shoes, socks, jackets, etc.) and eat, using utensils, without help from an adult?

3. Is your child able to sit on the line for short group lessons?

4. Is your child able to follow simple directions?

5. Does your child communicate their needs and wants?

6. Can they separate from parents? (Some school anxiety is normal.)

7. Is your child able to be redirected with minimum frustration?

8. Does your child exhibit some amount of movement and impulse control?

9. Have they outgrown the oral phase where EVERYTHING is placed in the mouth?

SUMMER CAMP SESSIONS 2026

SUMMER PROGRAM 2026
MONDAY JUNE 1, 2026 - FRIDAY AUGUST 7, 2026

 

Time:       There are Full Day or Part Day Preschool options:

                  ~ Part Day Preschool: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm.

                  ~ Full Day Preschool: 8:00-8:30 am drop off, (Pick up between 4:00pm and 5:00 pm)

                  *Toddler Classrooms run on a 12 Month Schedule,
so all toddler children will continue their current schedule unless other arrangements are
made. The toddlers will have a water day on their playground each Friday for the summer.

IN PRESCHOOL THIS SUMMER, WE WILL BE EXPLORING Transportation


We will be exploring Transportation. We will talk about different ways to get from one place to another, through air, land, and water.Every Friday, we will either walk to a local Park for a few hours in the morning, or have a Water Day on the Playground. Each Summer Session will be 1 week.


*All children will need to bring a sack lunch and water bottle each day. Gateway Montessori will provide snacks.

Cost:  Part Day $200/week per Child - 5 days week

           Full Day $345/week per Child – 5 days week

             (10% discount for 2nd child in same family) 

Tuition is due the first day of each month for all of the weeks you plan to attend that month.
June tuition includes session weeks 1-5 and July tuition includes session weeks 5-10.

Who may attend?  Students Currently enrolled in GMS and students enrolled for the Fall 2026.
